We dreamed of a safe outdoor event during the pandemic to bring community together in the @southsidefoodforestwsnc with the Sustainable Fashion Week US @sustainablefashionweekus & Winston-Salem Fashion Week @wsfwofficial in fall 2022 + 2023 in Winston-Salem, NC, USA
In 2024— we took Food to Fashion to the United Nations Summit of the Future and General Assembly showcasing ‘slow fashion’ designers like BRIN KARA DESIGNS, StellarLoop, and Sustainable Fashion Week US

Our first Sustainable Fashion Showcase was intergenerational and our littles were coached by Miss NC Cosmos (now Miss United States Cosmos!) in their runway.
Intergenerational engagement furthers the impacts, modeling for future fashion designers and creators what is ethical and sustainable.
